Lawrence (Larry) Cook is the founder and President of Lawrence Cook Financial Advisory. Larry began his career in banking in 1985, where he had direct responsibility for Financial Planning, Capital Planning, Asset-Liability Management, and Mergers & Acquisitions.  In 1996, Larry moved into the field of Investment Advisory and Investment Management and worked for two leading companies in the Asset Management industry.  In his last assignment, Larry was Senior Director - Client Solutions for Sun Life Capital Management.  In his career, Larry has managed accounts totaling more than $3 billion.

Larry earned his B.A. in Psychology from Western New England University and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Bridgeport.  He is also a CFA Charterholder and adheres to the CFA Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

Jessica graduated with a B.A. (Magna Cum Laude) from Arizona State University. Jessica has over 7 years of experience in customer service and client management roles, including personnel, office, and website management.

Our fundamental focus is to help people make solid financial decisions to improve their lives.  We can help people make these decisions by understanding where they are currently at, and where they would like to get to. We are honest communicators and we enjoy seeing our clients succeed.

We provide tools, education, mentoring and oversight to our clients as they move along the spectrum of financial goals.  We can make observations about certain aspects of our client's financial situation, such as insurance needs or asset allocation.  However, we do not sell any insurance products, and we do not recommend or sell any specific financial securities such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, or annuities.  We believe that not selling these products allows us to offer advice free and clear of any conflicts of interest.

Our fee structure is simple, and it is solutions driven.  We define an engagement by its scope in terms of time, the number of meetings and follow-up conversations, and desired outcomes.  We then charge only for the agreed-upon work.  We don't charge based on a percentage of assets under management, and we don't charge commissions for selling products.
